Realme C55 with a Dynamic Island launched in India

On 28 March 2023, the Realme C55 will be published in India. There will be two finishes—Sun Shower and Rainy Night—and three RAM and storage combinations available for the phone. As a member of its array of affordable smartphones, Realme C55 has been introduced in India. The phone satisfies the requirements for the essentials, but it also has some fascinating software components in sleek packaging. Apart from its slim appearance, the Realme C55 is the first Android phone to provide a Dynamic Island-like interface that closely resembles the iPhone. It is referred to by Realme as Tiny Capsule and is a feature that is mostly used to display battery, step, and data use notifications. The function must be turned on in Settings > Realme Labs > Tiny Capsule.

Realme C55 Overview:

Design & Display

The 90Hz LCD screen on the Realme C55 has a Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixel) resolution and a maximum brightness of 680nits. The 6.52-inch display panel includes a centered punch-hole notch, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and these specifications.

Realme C55 Design and Display

The small capsule, a software feature that provides significant information such as phone charge status, low battery warning, data consumption, as well as steps and walking distance for the day, is exclusive to this Realme phone.

The Realme C55 weighs 189.5g and has a 7.89mm thin design at its thinnest point. The phone’s elegant design is enhanced by its matte-finished polycarbonate frame and partially matte-finished rear panel with a dual-tone finish.

In terms of photography, the Realme C55 has a dual rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary camera (which the company says is taken from the Realme GT Master Edition) and a 2-megapixel camera that is used for taking depth measurements but is not visible to the user. It makes use of a selfie camera with an 8-megapixel sensor. Realme UI 4.0, an operating system built on Android 13, is used to run the device.

Realme C55 Camera

The first 64MP camera ever made, the largest camera sensor ever made, and the most sophisticated image software ever made. When you add it all up, you get a camera that is just more enjoyable to use. With a 54% larger sensor size and a 19.6% larger pixel size compared to our previous generation, there are more details, higher sharpness, and extra pop. Quicker, brighter, and clearer. With a flagship-level sensor that optimizes pixel size to 1.4 m and a sophisticated noise reduction engine, night shots now have a focus imaging time that is 40.4% faster. Even in the dark, keep taking shots. With the help of the cutting-edge function, which automatically recognizes human subjects, focuses them, and blurs the background to create a dramatic effect, take your photography to the next level.

8MP, for dependable selfies that show off your best features.

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor with LPDDR4X memory and EMMC 5.1 storage. Additionally, the Realme C55 offers additional capacity thanks to a dedicated microSD card slot that supports cards up to 1TB.

Realme C55 Processor

The phone’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi as usual, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C charging and data transfer. The Realme C55, which is offered in India, is identical to the model that was announced in Indonesia in that it lacks 5G connectivity and support but provides two nano SIM cards for 4G/LTE networks. The phone’s battery capacity is 5,000mAh, and Realme includes a 33W SuperVOOC cable charger in the box.
