Design and Display

This smartphone has the exact same appearance as its predecessor, hence there has been no design update. The back boasts a dual camera system and a leather-textured surface. And the only distinction between this guy and the Redmi A2+ is that he also has a fingerprint scanner that is mounted on the back.

Even the available colors—Light Green, Light Blue, and Black—are the same on these phones. Now you’re looking at a 6.52″ HD+ LCD screen with thick bezels (especially at the bottom) and a teardrop notch for the front camera.


The MediaTek Helio G36 processor in Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ is the same. The octa-core CPU of this device has four Cortex-A53 processors (2.2 GHz) and four Cortex-A53 processors (1.7 GHz). Integrated graphics uses a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In case you didn’t know, the Helio A22, a quad-core CPU, was used to power the Redmi A1+.

In terms of storage and storage, the Redmi A2+ has 32GB of onboard eMMC 5.1 storage with expandable up to 1TB and 2/3GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Starting with the Android 12 Go edition, Xiaomi guarantees that this phone will receive security updates for two years.


The Redmi A2+ includes two cameras on the back, each with an 8MP f/2.0 primary sensor and a depth sensor. Below the teardrop notch on the front is a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Similarly, the Redmi A25000mAh +’s battery supports 10W standard charging via the Micro USB connector. Moreover, it supports FM radio and includes a 3.5mm headphone connector just like the standard Redmi A2.

This phone has been formally introduced by Xiaomi in the European market, but details regarding its cost and availability internationally are yet unknown. As soon as it comes to India, we expect that the Redmi A2+ will cost approximately INR 7,999.
