On October 4, the renowned smartphone maker Vivo introduced its newest flagship model, the Vivo V29 Pro, in India. This smartphone has outstanding features and characteristics that will improve consumers’ smartphone experiences. We will go into the specifics of the Vivo V29 Pro in this article.

Vivo V29 Pro Overview:
Design and Display
As I already noted, the Vivo V29 Pro 5G resembles its predecessor in appearance. Given that many OEM flagship handsets continue to get somewhat thicker, the phone’s 7.4mm thickness is not awful. Once more, the weight is limited to 188 grams.
Even if you don’t like using the case, the back finish won’t let you down. The Himalayan Blue color option is only made available in India by Vivo. It combines “3D magnetic and nano-scale magnetic particles” technology to produce a floating mountain texture on the rear. I believe this blue color option goes well with both casual and formal outfits because I have utilized it.
In comparison to the model from the previous generation, the display size is likewise unaltered. The 6.78-inch Full HD+ (2,800 x 1,260) pixels 3D curved AMOLED display on the Vivo V29 Pro has a hole-punch cutout in the center for the front camera. We are receiving more or less common features because some display standards are consistent across this market, such as a 100 percent color gamut on the DCI P3 scale, a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 1,300 nits of peak brightness.
Camera
It has a triple back camera arrangement for optics, including an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 12-megapixel portrait camera, and a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization) capability. Different video and photographic modes, including slow motion, micro motion, supermoon, dual view, live photo, panoramic, and time-lapse photography, are supported by the back camera. It has a 50-megapixel sensor with autofocus on the front.
Performance
The 4nm process-based Dimensity 8200 SoC from MediaTek supplies power to the Vivo V29 Pro and Vivo V27 Pro. The smartphone’s base configuration now has 256GB of storage. There are two RAM setups offered: 8GB and 12GB.
In particular, the Vivo V29 Pro (12GB RAM model) outperformed the Vivo V27 Pro in our benchmarks (screenshots below). Like its predecessor, it still throttled (CPU Throttle app with 50 threads and 30 minutes).
With the Vivo V29 Pro, Vivo has promised three years of security updates as well as two years of Android OS updates (FuntouchOS 13 is based on Android 13). The additional years of OS updates that companies like Google, OnePlus, Nothing, and Samsung are providing in the same market won’t be too much to ask for.
Battery and Others
The 4,600mAh battery of the Vivo V29 Pro is identical to that of the Vivo V27 Pro. The charging speed has increased in the most recent version (80W as opposed to 66W). With the included charger, the phone charged to 50% capacity in less than 20 minutes, although 100% capacity may be reached in about 40 minutes. For those worried about the consequences of ultra-fast charging on the battery over an extended period of use, Vivo has provided the option to optimize charging.
